LEFCO Worthington is a wood working company located in Euclid Ohio, we are looking for a skilled individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will be able to perform the following essential duties and responsibilities:
- Utilize programmable panel and dimensional cutting equipment
- Selecting correct material and calculating the quantity needed to complete the job
- Maintain minimum levels of waste - utilize drops per cut sheet
- Preparing and using woodworking machinery to create required components
- Demonstrated understanding of set-up and editing programs
- Computer literate
- A demonstrated understanding of mathematics and construction measurements
- Prior work experience in a manufacturing environment operating woodworking cutting machines
- Must be coordinated and able to work quickly and safely
- Flexible and willing to take on multiple duties
- Attention to detail
Physical demands:
You will consistently lift between 20 to 40 lbs throughout the day in order to successfully complete the duties and requirements of this position. The ability to communicate verbally with management and other co-workers is important.
Work environment:
The job is performed indoors on a manufacturing floor. Exposure to loud noises, dust, dirt, heat and sparks may occur. Protective safety equipment will be required including appropriate clothing, shoes, gloves, ear protection and goggles as needed. Activities include extended periods of standing.
